Helicobacter pylori (H.pylori) is a bacteria which infects your stomach. More than half the population of the world has H.pylori infection but most people do not suffer & have no symptoms. Some people develop ulcers in the stomach called Peptic ulcers and suffer from pain abdomen, nausea, loss of appetite, burping, bloating & weight loss. H.pylori infection can be easily treated with antibiotics. If left untreated, complications like bleeding from ulcer & gastric cancer can occur. This is a rapid test used for the diagnosis of H.pylori infection and also helps to monitor response to treatment.
